Melanie Barker is a U.S. Navy veteran, small-business owner and dedicated community leader who has lived and worked in the Yosemite Mountain Area for more than forty years. As co-owner of Summit Real Estate, she understands the stakes for families, property owners and local businesses across District 5.

From youth mentorship and nonprofit leadership to statewide policy advocacy, Melanie brings integrity, energy and collaboration to every challenge. She knows how to listen, build consensus and deliver results that keep District 5 thriving.
